Catharsis

Noun; "purification or purgation of the emotions ... through art" ¤

Sara chewed the back of her pencil thoughtfully whilst staring at a blank wall with deep fascination - if somewhat exaggerated. One must never underestimate the intrinsic power of blank walls, she reminded herself, for they are one of the most inspiring things in the entire world. And yet, looking at said blank wall, her inspiration gave a little cough... Phoow! - and died in a pathetic wheez of iridescent, rainbow-colored smoke.

Drawn

One of the reasons why I hate Art at school is because we are forced to be practical. I like conjuring up fairies; they force me to observe apples. I compromise and draw a fairy sitting on an apple; they give me a detention. See the dilemma? Here, however, is a small collection of my personal little fantasies.

Written

Yes, I write poetry too. The "rhyming kind" - let's not get too technical. Some of it is quite suicidal, but others radiate high levels of lovesickness. I suppose they serve as riddlelike way of saying what I cannot verbalise. Did I mention that I completely and totally loathe poetry analysis during English lessons?
